Ruad, Merman Revamp

This is my merman oc Ruad, whom was just a random merman I drew a few years ago. Well, I'm using him for an rp now and so I decided to redraw him I still love the dark little guy.

Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Demisexual
Race: Half Flesh Eating Merman (his mother was just one of those standard beautiful, gentle mermaids and his father was a flesh eater whom tended to either lure landfolk into the water to eat or wait for someone to drown to eat them)
Height: Very tall/long tailed (about 6'7'' or so)
Relationship status: FOREVER SMITTEN WITH 's OC BRITTANY <3 HIS HEART IS STOLEN
Age: 24
DOB: July 15th

Bio: Ruad is from a clan of flesh eating merfolk form the deep oceans of the far eastern side of the Atlantic ocean. His mother was a mermaid and his father was a flesh eater merman (if you want a better general name, he would the version of a European merman, known to lure humans to watery graves and were carnivorous). He never met his mother after birth, assuming that she fled soon after. His father never told him. He fled from his clan of the Atlantic, not quite fitting in and decided to try and find a better place out in the vast ocean. Over time he has come across several different pods (clans, whatever) of merfolk, most of which either were too frightened to be near him or just simply treat him with mistrust.

Kind
Quiet, mostly (unless spoken to or concerned for another)
Dense
Shy about his dancing and singing
Empathetic despite his fathers side of the family heritage
Can be irrational or quick to action
Naturally curious
Is a natural predator so can be vicious and strong, but is honestly just scary on the outside and luvvy on the inside.

He has sharp teeth and deep, dark almost soulless eyes. He has sharp claws and is a predator race so has to be strong and quick enough to take down his prey. Despite his  malevolent heritage, he does not ever attempt to bring any land dwellers to their graves. If he ever sings he does so in private so that there isn't a chance for any sailors or humans to hear.
